Lost Land is a touching and candid story about the journey of a group of Rohingya from a refugee camp in Bangladesh to Malaysia, told from the perspective of young siblings Shafi and Somira. The persecuted refugees come across both friendliness and hostility on the dangerous journey.

The film is the first ever feature film to be shot entirely in the Rohingya language. The cast of first time Rohingya actors give the film unaffected authenticity. The lead actors, who are siblings in real life, share splendid on-screen chemistry.
